Yin yoga and Chinese medicine

Offered on a seasonal basis, these workshops integrate the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the practice of Yin Yoga. We learn about which internal organs correspond to the current season, and which foods, acupressure points, and lifestyle practices can help to restore balance in the body and mind. Using Yin Yoga postures we stimulate the corresponding meridians or energy channels, which revitalize the internal organs

Feminine Rhythms

This workshop empowers women to gain a greater understanding and acceptance of our feminine rhythms. Integrating anatomy, physiology, herbalism and archetypes, we explore the four principal phases of the menstrual cycle. Through meditation, dialogue, writing, movement and ritual we connect with our feminine power and learn to embrace our natural rhythms.

You really get your money’s worth at Janine’s Yin style yoga workshops! These workshops are a great way to harmonize your energies in the changing of the seasons. I like the information regarding food choices and Chinese medicine information that is offered in flowing bits throughout the workshop. Very interesting and supportive environment.
